Todd Vandam, CFA®

Senior Investment Strategist

Todd is a Senior Investment Strategist at Pallas Capital Advisors bringing with him 30 years of investment experience managing Multi Sector and High Yield Bond portfolios on behalf of institutional and retail clients.

Todd is a seasoned investment professional known for his deep market insight, disciplined investing process, and ability to navigate complex market environments.

Prior to joining Pallas, Todd served as a Portfolio Manager on the Full Discretion team at Loomis, Sayles & Company, where he co-managed the multi-sector Strategic Alpha strategy growing it from inception to more than $5 billion in assets under management. He also played a key role managing a $2 billion U.S. High Yield “benchmark-aware” strategy and the $4 billion High Yield Full Discretion strategy.

Todd brings extensive expertise in macroeconomic scenario analysis, portfolio risk management and asset allocation across equities, fixed income, and alternative investments. Throughout his career, he has also worked closely with clients and consultants, supporting investment strategy discussions and helping institutions and advisors navigate evolving market conditions. Todd is widely regarded as analytical, hardworking, and a strong team player who thrives in complex markets and remains focused on delivering results across economic cycles.

At Pallas, Todd works with the investment team to provide strategic perspectives on global markets, asset allocation, and portfolio construction. He supports the continued development of the firm’s investment platform, helps evaluate new investment opportunities and managers, and collaborates with advisors on portfolio implementation and client engagement.

Todd Vandam is a CFA® charterholder and holds the Series 65 license.

Before entering the investment management industry, Todd served as an Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army at Fort Davis in Panama and is a graduate of the US Army Ranger and US Army Airborne schools. Todd earned his BA in Business and Economics from Brown University and played Varsity Lacrosse.

In his free time, Todd enjoys playing pickleball, fishing and spending time with friends and family.
